Valentine’s Day 2027 falls on Sunday, Feb. 14, and the Monday after is Presidents’ Day, when Broward County Public Schools are closed. A Sunday Valentine’s means brunch is in play. Most of Pembroke Pines’ sit-down date spots are clustered at The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, beside Interstate 75 at Pines Boulevard. The city’s own February calendar runs to a food festival and a free concert, not anything heart-shaped.

Taste of Pines is the city’s food festival: local restaurants and caterers serve samples and compete for People’s Choice awards for food, drink, dessert and “New Kid on the Block,” according to the city’s page. Children 2 and older needed a ticket in 2026, and the city warned that only tickets bought through its Ticketmaster link or the box office were valid. It is a good February date night if it lands near Valentine’s Day again.
