Black Friday is Friday, Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. Pembroke Pines has two big shopping destinations about three miles apart on Pines Boulevard: Pembroke Lakes Mall, the enclosed mall, and The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, the open-air center beside Interstate 75. Neither had posted Black Friday hours when we checked, so the regular hours are below; we will add the holiday hours when they go up.

Pembroke Lakes Mall

From the mall’s FAQ:

  • Parking is free.
  • Gift wrapping is available during the holiday season.
  • Mall walkers can come in when the doors unlock at 10 a.m.
  • The mall no longer sells its own gift cards online; cards already bought are still honored.
  • The AMC Pembroke Lake 9 theater is at the west end of the mall.
  • A farmers market sets up on Thursday evenings in the parking area west of Macy’s.

The Shops at Pembroke Gardens

Pembroke Gardens has stores and more than 20 restaurants around landscaped plazas, and runs Thursday Nights in the Gardens with restaurant specials and live music, according to its events page. Small Business Saturday: Nov. 28

The Saturday after Thanksgiving is Small Business Saturday. Pembroke Pines’ independent shops and restaurants are spread across the city’s shopping plazas. To find one, use the Pembroke Pines Today business directory or see our new businesses page for recent openings.

Holiday markets

  • Pembroke Pines Artisan Market, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at William B. Armstrong Dream Park, 1700 NW 160th Ave. The city’s first curated artisan market has handcrafted art, gifts and food, plus a DJ, face painting and kids’ crafts. Admission is free. City page.
  • Studio 18 Holiday Market. Last year’s one-day sale of work by Studio 18’s resident artists, with everything $20 or less, was 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Studio 18 Art Complex, 1101 Poinciana Drive, according to the 2025 city listing. The 2026 date is not out yet; Studio 18: 954-961-6067.
  • Flea Market and Bazaar at the Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center, 301 NW 103rd Ave. The city holds it several times a year with more than 100 indoor vendors; some take cash only and there is no ATM on site. The next date was not posted when we checked; call 954-450-6888.

Parking and traffic

The city had not published holiday traffic or parking notes when we checked. Both centers sit on Pines Boulevard (State Road 820), and Pembroke Gardens is at the Interstate 75 interchange. For lane closures, check FL511 and our road construction and closures page.
