Legal notices tell the public about hearings, budgets, rezonings, foreclosures, tax sales, bids and more. In Florida they appear in several places at once. This page lists where to find the official versions for Pembroke Pines and Broward County.

Where to look first

Under section 50.0211, Florida Statutes, a legal notice printed in a newspaper must also appear on that newspaper’s website the same day, and the newspaper must post it on the statewide site FloridaPublicNotices.com, run by the Florida Press Association. The statewide site must be searchable and keep an archive, and you can sign up there for alerts.

Florida law also lets local governments publish some notices on a county website instead, under section 50.0311. In Broward that site is BrowardCountyLegalNotices.com. A government that uses the county site must let residents register to get its notices by mail or email instead. The City Clerk can tell you where each kind of city notice runs.
