Every public school in Pembroke Pines, with its zone and report card: Pembroke Pines public schools.
Public schools in Pembroke Pines are run by Broward County Public Schools, the countywide district, not by the city. Children are assigned to a district school by home address. Pembroke Pines is unusual in one way: the city government runs its own public charter school system, with elementary and middle campuses and a charter high school at its Academic Village on Sheridan Street. Other charter operators, including Somerset Academy, Franklin Academy and Renaissance, also run schools in the city.

Finding your school and registering
Enter your street address and your child’s grade in the district’s school locator, linked from the Register My Child page, to see your assigned elementary, middle and high school. Then contact that school to enroll. Bring the completed district registration form, current proofs of residence and the documents on the district’s registration checklist, including immunization records (health requirements).
Charter schools, including the city’s own, enroll separately through each school’s application. To apply for a district school outside your boundary, see the district’s school choice page.
