Silver Palms Elementary is the Broward County Public Schools elementary school for pre-K to grade 5 on NW 155th Avenue in west Pembroke Pines, just west of Interstate 75. Its zone is almost entirely inside the city. Two School Board decisions changed it this year: it took in part of the closed Panther Run Elementary zone, and its students now go on to Silver Trail Middle and West Broward High instead of Walter C. Young Middle and Flanagan High.

State report card
Florida grades every public school A to F. A school’s grade is the share of possible points it earns on state test results, learning gains and, for high schools, the graduation rate and college and career acceleration. The state’s 2026 file sets an A for an elementary school at 62% of points or more.
| School year | Grade |
|---|---|
| 2025-26 | A (71% of possible points) |
| 2024-25 | A |
| 2023-24 | A |
From the state’s 2026 school grades file, the share of students scoring on grade level on the state tests in 2025-26:
- Third-grade English language arts: 77%
- English language arts: 78%
- Math: 79%
- Science: 77%

The 2026-27 changes. On Jan. 21, 2026, the School Board consolidated Panther Run Elementary into Silver Palms and Chapel Trail, according to the district’s May 12 Redefining Our Schools update (PDF). The zone map says students in the hatched area “are now assigned to Silver Palms Elementary.”
The same day the board moved the parts of the Walter C. Young Middle and Charles W. Flanagan High zones west of I-75 to Silver Trail Middle and West Broward High. The Silver Palms zone lies in that area, so, comparing the district’s boundaries, it now goes on to Silver Trail Middle and then West Broward High. The Flanagan zone map says high school students there who were already at Flanagan in 2025-26 are not reassigned.
Broward County’s boundary map data still draws the zones as they were before the 2026-27 changes, so the feeder patterns on this page apply the district’s 2026-27 changes to that data; the district’s zone maps and Find My School tool are the authority for any address.
The district’s Oct. 6 workshop presentation (PDF) names Silver Palms as a possible receiving school for some exceptional student education students under a proposal for Dolphin Bay and Silver Lakes elementaries in Miramar. The district plans final Redefining Our Schools recommendations in November and School Board decisions in December 2026.
